Valve has released December statistics on the hardware used by Steam users.

At the end of December, Russian took third place among games used on Steam with a share of 10.18%, an increase of 0.63%. Leading is English – 42.14% (+8.96%), followed by Simplified Chinese at 29.95% (-0.3%).

The market share of Nvidia video cards is 75.43%, AMD – 16.52% and Intel – 7.72%. It is noteworthy that in the latter case, the main part consists of graphics chips integrated into the processor, and not full-fledged video cards of the Intel Arc series.

The most popular video card remains the budget Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, whose market share increased by almost 1% during the month to reach 6.02%. This is followed by the RTX 4060 (5.04%) and RTX 4060 (4.86%) Laptops.

The most popular processors remain Intel solutions, installed on 63.43% (-0.8%) of Steam users, while AMD's share increased by 3.02% to 38.73%, set a new record.

The share of Windows among all Steam users at the end of December was 96.1%, with Windows 11 accounting for 54.96% (+1.98%) and Windows 10 – 42.39% (-0.92% ).
