The Intel Arc B580 graphics card, built on the Battlemage architecture, performs well in most modern games, but struggles in Unreal Engine projects.

According to ComputerBase, in tests that included 21 games, including 9 games running on Unreal Engine, the Arc B580 was clearly inferior to its competitors.

In games using this engine, the card loses to NVIDIA RTX 4060 by 13% and AMD RX 7600 by 4%.

However, in tests without Unreal Engine, the B580 almost caught up with the RTX 4060 and was 6% ahead of the RX 7600. The main reason is that Intel cards are poorly optimized for this popular tool.

Another factor is the use of upscaling, which the Intel architecture copes with less well than its competitors.

Despite the advancements in the Battlemage line, the Arc B580 is still less competitive for Unreal Engine games.
