Where can I find a jeep

Present FRV is not available as a strategy – vehicles that can only be found and only in urban areas appeared with the Omens of Tyranny update. They are often found during missions against the Illuminati on Calypso. On the map, jeeps are marked with an icon of a small car with a machine gun.

FRVs will later appear as stratagems that can be summoned at will. But to do this, the paratroopers still need to keep in touch and wait for further orders. Once the stratagem is unlocked, it will likely cost at least 20,000 points, if not more.

How to drive a jeep

By default, Helldivers 2 includes two accessibility settings for driving the Jeep: auto reverse and reverse. Thanks to these parameters, the FRV handles like any other car in the game. If you press the accelerator it will move forward, if you hold the brake it will move backwards.

With accessibility settings enabled, the gear icon looks like a meaningless decoration. However, if you turn them off, you will have to shift gears manually using the Control and Shift keys (or L2 and R2 on PS5). Only after shifting can you press the gas button and the FRV will move.
