According to Pivovarov, due to the situation of foreign agents, he lost part of his income. The journalist noted that we were talking about the income he received from the ad and clarified that he lost them after the law on the ban on advertising from foreign agents.

In March 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a ban on advertising from foreign agents. According to the new standards, advertisers cannot set documents for such state, as well as advertising information resources of foreign agents. For law violations, an administrative fine is provided for up to 50,000 rubles for individuals, up to 500 thousand rubles for companies.
