Famous Soviet poet Vadim Mishchuk passed away
Famous Soviet poet Vadim Mishchuk, the second member of the legendary duet of the Mishchuk brothers, has passed away.
The departure of the musician was reported on the website of the Grushinsky Festival, in which the brothers continuously participated.
The festival's website said: “Very sad news. Today our friend Vadim Mishchuk passed away. We were waiting for Vadim at Winter Grushinsky, but fate decided otherwise.”
No other details were provided.
“We will always remember. And sang songs with his beautiful music,” the brief obituary said.
Older brother Valery died on August 14, 2022 of cancer.
The brothers were born in the 50s in Riga, where they played in VIA Domino, and in 1989 they moved to Moscow. Participated in the project “Songs of our century”.
Among the most famous songs are: “The Steamship is Sailing Away”, “Rizhsky Station”, “Feast” and others.
