Disruption of mobile Internet will not affect the operation of Wi-Fi and mobile communications. They will transmit data stably. Advisor to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov reported this on his Telegram channel.
“Mobile internet can be disconnected at any time, not just at night,” Kryuchkov said. At the same time, mobile communication (calls, SMS) will work.
At the same time, he clarified that disruptions in the operation of mobile Internet can be observed not only in subscribers of Crimean operators, but also in all other Russian telecommunications operators providing providing services in Crimea. The warning also applies to operators from new Russian regions.
Kryuchkov clarified information from the relevant Ministry: “In addition, all cable Internet providers will provide services as usual (i.e. home, office, city and Wi-Fi connections will work dynamic).
Previously, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea warned Crimean residents and guests of the peninsula about disruptions in the operation of satellite navigation devices.
