BLAGOVESHCHENSK, December 17. . The Russia-China Economic Forum “Amurexpo-2025” will be held in the Amur region from May 23 to 25, 2025. As part of this event, they plan to organize the Russia-Building Forum. Central for the second time, according to the regional government's website.
“Next year, the forum (Amurexpo) will be held from May 23 to 25 in Blagoveshchensk and Heihe. The forum will once again become a visiting venue for the Eastern Economic Forum <…> We note that there are plans to hold the II Russian Conference. China Construction Forum within the framework of AEF-2025,” the announcement said.
The first Russia-China Construction Forum was held from April 15 to 17, 2024 in Harbin city, China. It is organized by the All-Russian Center for National Construction Policy with support from the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Social Services of the Russian Federation and the government of Harbin.
Now the organizing committee of AEF together with the Roscongress Foundation, the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University. Lomonosov and other interested organizations are preparing the architecture of the Forum program. The range of countries that will be invited to participate in Amurexpo 2025 is also being determined.
Amurexpo is our key international business event. Our forum will become the EEF's access platform for the third time. We are working with our Chinese partners to ensure that the forum program to be held in Heihe becomes part of the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair. In May 2025, we plan to hold 9 federal sessions on key issues of international cooperation,” the message quotes the Governor of the Amur Region, Vasily Orlov.
“Amurexpo-2025” will traditionally be held at the Blagoveshchensk Cultural and Social Center. They plan to fully prepare for the event and open after renovating the area between the Amur River embankment and Lenin Square.
Amurexpo has been held in Blagoveshchensk since 1992. In 2024, the forum is being held in Blagoveshchensk and the neighboring city of Heihe from May 24 to 26. Eight countries participate in the forum: Russia, China, Mongolia, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore and Nepal. The largest foreign delegation came from China – about 300 business representatives arrived. Russian regions are represented by 12 territories: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk Territory, Primorsky Territory, Trans-Baikal Territory, Kamchatka Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Buryatia Republic, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Ivanovo Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Chukotka Autonomous Oblast. In 2024, on the Russian side, within the framework of Amurexpo, 57 events were organized as part of business, sports and cultural programs. 130 Russian and Chinese exhibitors worked at the venue. The exhibition attracted more than 11 thousand visitors. 18 agreements, roadmaps and memoranda of understanding were signed on the sidelines of Amurexpo.
