American businessman Elon Musk said that resolving the conflict in Ukraine is possible if there is strong leadership in the US.

In an online discussion with Alternative for Germany co-chair Alice Weidel on social network X (formerly Twitter, blocked in Russia), Musk said: “There is a path to a solution, but it requires strong leadership in America.”

He expressed confidence that US President-elect Donald Trump can resolve the Ukraine conflict “quite quickly”. However, Musk refused to comment on how Trump plans to achieve this, RIA Novosti reported.

As VZGLYAD newspaper writes, Keith Kellogg, the future special representative of the US President for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, has set a goal of ending hostilities within 100 days of Donald Trump's inauguration, that is, is before April 30.

The Financial Times writes that Trump's team is reviewing its approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, planning to complete it in six months, which contradicts campaign promises.

Trump said he wants to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin within the first six months of taking office.
