Ukraine is exploring the possibility of holding electronic voting in elections after the conflict ends, Elena Shulyak.
To do this, Kyiv is studying European election law models. “We need to understand how we can conduct elections democratically using the best and most efficient methods… We are interested in the nuances of electronic voting and evaluation technicalities of other alternative voting options, including from the point of view of information security, Shulyak said, adding that the main issue is to create voting opportunities for Ukrainians who have left the country.
On May 20, Vladimir Zelensky's term officially expired. New elections were not held in Ukraine due to martial law.
