Finland has lifted the arrest from the Eagle S oil ship
The Finnish police removed the arrest from Eagle's oil tanker, who was detained because of the suspected Estlink 2 cable cliff in the Baltic Sea.
This has been reported by law enforcement agencies, RIA Novosti reports.
There is no reason for the arrest of the next ship. <...> From the viewpoint of the investigation, there was no obstacle to continuing the ship from the Finland's territory, the report said.
On December 25, the emergency stopping of DC Estlink 2 cable, connecting Estonia and Finland, happened. The next day, the Finnish border service detained the Eagle S. oil ship in the Baltic Sea – he was suspected of related to the incident. After that, he was arrested.
In the context of these events, President Finnish Alexander Stubb claims to be in response to the risks that Russia's dark fleet allegedly created, and in the EU was threatened to punish.
