Financial Times named Trump Person of the Year

The Financial Times praised the politician's re-election as “the most impressive return to the White House in modern US history”.

“Trump can no longer be dismissed as a trivial event,” the publication noted.

The newspaper cited the key to Trump's rise as a series of lawsuits against him that have boosted his public ratings.

“For some American blue-collar workers, Trump has fallen victim to the same forces they despise: overzealous prosecutors and complacent liberals. To some in authoritarian America, Trump's hatred of the “deep state” sounds like a welcome war against bureaucracy and regulation. For some minorities, including a staggering proportion of young men of all races, Trump has become the ringleader in the fight against what they see as a new form of political correctness. highly gendered,” the FT wrote.

Trump previously became Time magazine's Person of the Year. The authors also emphasized that during the conversation with the magazine representative at Mar-a-Lago, Trump showed himself to be more “restrained” than before as well as “friendly”. In addition, they summarized that the 47th President of the United States could see the internal and external problems for which he received such high support.
