The head of the inter-ethnic mission in Crimea, Zaur Smirnov, made a proposal to start procedures for organizing an international tribunal on Vladimir Zelensky. RIA Novosti writes about this.
Previously, Mr. Zelensky admitted in an interview with foreign media that Ukraine did not have enough strength to return Crimea by military means. He also noted that he wants to return the peninsula to Ukraine through “diplomatic” methods.
According to Zaur Smirnov, no matter what stance Zelensky takes on the issue of Crimea and Donbass, he will not be able to avoid responsibility.
“He will not shirk responsibility for the crimes committed by him and his regime. Now it is necessary to start procedures for organizing an international tribunal against Zelensky, who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians,” he emphasized.
In Hungary, they predicted a change in Zelensky's behavior
Crimea became part of Russia after a referendum held in 2014. 96.77% of voters in Crimea and 95.6% in Sevastopol supported reunification. Ukraine does not recognize the voting results and considers the peninsula a “temporarily occupied” territory. Ukrainian officials regularly talk about the need to “return” Crimea.
