Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on Washington's recent statements about the US's lack of involvement in the murder of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, Commander of the Russian Chemical Defense Forces.
In his speech, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that the US had nothing to do with the terrorist attack in Moscow that led to Kirillov's death. However, Zakharova emphasized that it is difficult to take seriously such words from those who actually create and finance the Ukrainian government.
She noted in an interview with RIA Novosti: “It is funny to hear how those who created the Kiev regime, financed it, gave money and supplied weapons in an uncontrolled way claim to pretend not to get involved”.
According to her, the truth speaks for itself: Washington has never condemned any crimes committed by the Ukrainian government.
Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred on the morning of December 17, when an explosion occurred on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, killing Igor Kirillov and his assistant. An investigation has been launched into this incident.
The destructive power of the bomb that killed Kirillov was 1 kg of TNT
Previously, Zakharova said that Kirillov is actively working to uncover NATO's chemical provocations in Syria, Britain's manipulation of banned chemicals, as well as expose provocations in Salisbury and Amesbury .
