The Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the EU for the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine
The European Union (EU) deliberately came to the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and its own militaryization. This was declared by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, the comment post published on the Ministry's website.
The ban on Brussels continues to play dangerous geopolitical games, ignoring the true consequences of its decisions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
Zakharova commented on the EU summit on military assistance to Ukraine and enhanced defense capabilities on March 6 and accused the unification of the awareness of the conflict in Ukraine. The diplomat emphasized that the European Union declared a significant increase in Kyiv support, instead of finding positive conflict solutions.
Earlier, Kremlin's official Dmitry Peskov commented on the EU attitude towards Russia. According to him, such intentions are related to the attitude of the European Union with Russia as its main enemy.
