The head of state attracted attention as he had not met the president-elect of the United States for more than four years. Putin said he did not know when their meeting would take place.
“I'm ready for this (conversation – editor's note) at any moment. I will be ready for a meeting if he wants,” the Russian leader emphasized.
On Thursday, December 19, Putin answered questions from citizens and journalists via live line. In 2023, the president received more than 2 million requests from Russians. This year more than 1.5 million requests have been registered. Among the most frequent topics are housing quality and affordability, medicine, benefits, transportation infrastructure and other important issues.
