Chechen Interior Minister Aslan Iraskhanov has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general of police. This follows the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Iraskhanov was born on August 16, 1976 in the village of Tsentaroy, Shalinsky district of Chechnya. He heads the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs since November 2023.
