Russia needs to improve its armed forces and maintain combat readiness to prepare for conflict with the North Atlantic Alliance. State Duma Deputy Andrei Kolesnik told Lenta.ru about this.

The parliamentarian reiterated that the NATO bloc has always been hostile to Russia, and therefore, as before, we should prepare for a conflict with this bloc, take measures to improve the army, strengthen its strength. and maintain combat readiness.

Kolesnik emphasized that preventing the possibility of a collision is important. Russian propaganda should demonstrate to the North Atlantic Alliance what a conflict with Russia could lead to.

At the same time, the deputy minister noted the possibility of normalizing relations with NATO. Moscow has never given up on peace initiatives.

On December 16, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Andrei Belousov said that this agency is making efforts to fully prepare for a possible military conflict with NATO.
